A popular tourist destination, Mexico’s draw is its gorgeous beach resorts located along the Baja Peninsula, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta. There’s also the delicious cuisine, museums, and fantastic architecture--more than enough to complete your thirst for adventure.
Exploring Mexico city
Mexico City is one of the world’s argest metropolis, spanning 2240 m above sea level. From a shot of tequila at an old cantina to vibrant dancing to the beats of a famous DJ on a rooftop party, Mexico holds more than enough activities for everyone.
Top landmarks
To experience Mexico’s religious history, visit the Basilica de Guadalupe, which is considered as a holy destination for Catholics. Art buffs will enjoy Coyoacan, where the creative minds of Leon Trotsky, Diego Rivera, and Frida Kahlo were born. A complete view of city can be seen from Latin America’s tallest tower, the Torre Mayor.
Safety travel tips when in Mexico City
Travel here is generally safe, but catching a cab can be dangerous. Be aware that taxi robberies happen, where in a victim is taken to different ATMs to max out their savings. However, most of the victims are locals so it’s less likely this will happen. Pickpockets are inevitable, so don’t wave your money around carelessly.

For a spectacular view of Hong Kong, the best place to dine is the R66 revolving restaurant. You won’t miss this tall building once you reach the Hopewell Center, located 10 minutes away from the MTR Wanchai Station.
Key features of Hong Kong's R66 (rotating restaurant)
As you feast on international cuisine, you’ll have an awesome aerial view of the Victoria Harbour from the 62nd floor location of R66. The restaurant is a complete assault on the senses, from the beautiful city lights of Hong Kong for the eyes to the delicious buffet options for anyone’s taste.
Some of R66's best dishes
Serving international cuisine, foreign travelers won’t have a problem choosing from the buffet’s diverse options. The buffet gives more value for your money compared to the menu options, where the cheapest meal is at 1000 HKD. Although some visitors say that the view makes up for whatever it lacks in its menu, the lobster dish definitely sounds worth trying out. Expect quality service and ambience to match its fine dining.

Our ultimate child's fantasy is to meet our hero. It's not Spiderman or Superman. But the mouse with a huge ear and head. Yes, Mickey Mouse will always be a classic character. So why don't you give your child the thrill of his life and let him play with Mickey Mouse and his gang? He'll never forget the wonderful day! For parents like you and me, what is the price of an endearing smile and a tight embrace? It doesn't amount to anything when you see your family have a taste of a fantastic adventure.
For my son's birthday, I brought the whole family to Walt Disney World Resort. John, my 7-year-old boy was thrilled and excited to be in this magical place for the first time. Even without the cake, gifts, and balloons, having us around made him happy enough. If Walt Disney can create the best fairytale finale and plots, you'll surely find the same aura of magic in this recreational resort. We went swimming, playing, and strolling around the whole paradise. Mickey Mouse will never ever lose his charm and appeal even to an old guy like me!
You'll be in awe with the four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. My boy loves the Animal Kingdom. He enjoyed the slides and whole setting in the wild. On the other hand, my wife preferred the Epcot Center, which she says has more grandeur when it comes to details. Me? I just love the Magic Kingdom. It made into a boy again. But if there's one park we all agreed to stay the longest, it's in Disney MGM Studios. Isn't it just amazing to see fantasy come to life?

Perhaps, the purpose of any travel is to learn and discover. These are the forces that set voyagers sailing to different turfs of adventure and mysteries. There's a Napoleon in every one of us who seize to explore the great beyond, and what a good way to respond to your calling but to travel in Asia, right? It's one part of the world that never grows tired of its eccentric culture and exotic splendor. If you like to experience the true Asian heritage and majesty, I'd suggest that you go to Bangkok city, Thailand. The place is fascinating and for sure, the trip would suit your taste for learning and discovering.

What makes Bangkok special? There are wonderful things you'll see in the capital of Thailand that you'll never find in Europe! You'll be in awe with the beaming skyscrapers and historical temples but at the same time, you'll be humbled by the culture, which is apparent in every street and corner of the city. Civilization is reunited with heritage and values. The people are not afraid to bear it all with floating markets, fruit carvings, temples, and street trade fairs. The countryside is stunning and the beach resorts are to die for. It's a tropical paradise for simple, ordinary living.
Friday, May 11. 2007
When you're in Bangkok, make the most out of it. Enjoy the food, relax with the famous Thai massage, and feast your eyes with the breathtaking sites. You'll soon find solace away from the hustle and bustle of work. My personal favorite is watching the Muay Thai boxing match; every minute sends chill to my spine. It's quite exciting and engaging. Or, to fascinate yourself more, how about a treat to glitz of a lady boy show? I'm sure you'll be packed up with experience and memories in no time. But before you go home, don't forget to have a dinner cruise on the Chao Praya River. It's something you can't afford to miss.

Lebanon will be the last thing on your mind when it comes to holiday travel. You'll fear for your own life and safety especially when you hear how an Israelli air strike killed 54 innocent Lebanese people. Whatever age-old resentment or apathetic dispute there is, it's not an excuse to destroy a wonderful land of ancient scenery. If not for grave threats and terrorist attacks, I'm sure Lebanon will still be a great tourist destination even for Jewish people.

Do you know that Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, was once considered as Paris of the Midle East? It is a surprise to see how sophisticated architecture lie on concrete disasters incurred by the post civil war. And though the city was devastated immensely, it went through an impressive transformation to revive the vibrant glow of Beirut. It is a charming town teeming with natural landscapes, museums, booming social highlights and civilized culture and heritage.
Tuesday, May 8. 2007
You don't need to arm yourself with shields and weapons. There are a number of recreational activities you can gratify yourself with while staying in Lebanon. Of course, you'll have to pray for your life too. While trekking and hiking the Roman ruins and majestic mountains, you will appreciate how beautiful the whole nation can be if not for the terrorist attacks. You can also visit museums, different Islamic architecture or even go skiing. There are too much to see but unfortunately war destroyed a wonderful opportunity.

Travel isn't all about beauty, culture, grand tours and vacations, you'll also have to spend like hell. But if you're clever and cheap, you can get some travelling perks and afford some good old learning experience. Most of our problems rise from how we envision ourselves as tourists. We always think of Italy, France and other parts of Europe when we can explore several other continents. The world is like the Sahara desert: vast, huge and unlimited. You don't have to flock an already congested spot, you can be Napoleon and explore what others failed to see.
Sunday, May 6. 2007
Is there a right time and place for travel? Go when others won't. There's no sense of flocking along with other tourists during peak season. Plus, it can be more expensive and inconvenient. Even celebrities whose life is scrutinized by the public eye enjoy privacy snd solitude every once in a while. So give yourself a treat! Make sure that you have the best view and spot wherever you'll go. If you really want to unravel the mystery of your voyage, stay at places where you'll get involved with the crowd. Hotels can be suffocatingly posh and gaudy.
Saturday, May 5. 2007
How do I get away with perks? I don't need to bribe and bet my money on it, all I need is to ask. There's no reason to be intimidated by travel providers. Ask them if you can get a better fare or rate because they are willing to advise you about rebates. I even remember how I got the whole window seat just by myself. I asked the gate keeper if he can arrange a comfortable seat and he obliged with a smile. You see, they're not as impatient and as mean as we think they are. I even get freebies, special breakfast meals, elite status and upgrades in my flight and stay. Be an inquisitive traveller and you'll get your way to a fantastic getaway.

Look at Paris Hilton's glamor and style and it will reflect the grand sophistication of her family's hotel. So if you're in New York City, I suggest that you stay in Hilton Hotel. You'll have the rare chance to meet Hollywood stars and you'll be treated like a true royalty with their premier service and amenities. Royalty will surely cost a fortune, so make sure that you can afford the lavish lifestyle and comfort of staying in a first class hotel.
Thursday, May 3. 2007
The Hilton Hotel is accessible to shopping centers, cafes, and New York's fashionable sites and boutiques. Or if you want, you can just explore the whole area which will cater to your business needs and personal satisfaction. If you're worried to leave your office in mess, don't worry because there are business centers for your office matters. But when traveling with the family, you may enjoy the fitness spas and personalized accomodations. .

In just one day of staying in Paris Hilton's hotel, I was able to catch a glimpse of Johnny Depp and Olivia Wilde. My family also went shopping at the lobby with all the designer labels. Afterwhich, we relieved our stress through fitness spas. Dinner reservations were made by the concierge, while laundry and transportation service are not something to worry. But the best of all, my puppy had a grand time of his life pampered by professional hands in a pet care center. I lived like a king and the over-all experience was superb.

You used to be a knight in shining armor for a damsel in distress. But where are you now? You're supposed to climb up the castle and defeat the dragon that threatens your marriage. She was once your princess only to turn into a dominating witch after years of being together. She's no longer Sleeping Beauty but a gory mess when she wakes up. But don't be a smug! You're no prince charming either. You've got a pot belly and you snore like hell. So in the end, there's no happy ever after and you can just say, "like hell I didn't know it's going to be this way!

Stop whining about a frustrating married life and do something. You've got kids, the house, and the contract that binds you. Besides, divorce can be expensive especially when your wife decides to punish you and get even, so don't think about it. Have you seen your wife lately? How many years have you been married? You don't need flowers or expensive gifts for your anniversary. The best gift a husband can give his wife is to remember it.

I looked at my wife Dianna. I don't know when and why the spark had suddenly disappeared, but I know I owe her a lot for the times I failed to appreciate her. So for our anniversary, I planned a trip to a resort in Hawaii. She was surprised but more than happy to be with me alone after several years. What was just a plain idea of vacation and travel turned out to be an antidote to the weariness of our marriage. Sometimes, simple things can make the big difference. I learned that all women ask of their man is to be cherished and love. Remember the dates and show them that you care especially on the anniversary to celebrate the times you've been together.

You can never claim that you have traveled the entire Spanish land unless you have been into El Rastro that is Madrid's infamous flea market. Here, you can find anything your hands wanna hold —from Spanish churros to Spanish antiques and other things long forlorn. The said busy market starts at Plaza de Cascorro to Ribera de Curtidores. If you're taking a cab, these are the important names you have to remember. Or, simply say “el rastro, por favor senior”.
Friday, April 27. 2007
If you're a foreign visitor, it's always best take a cab. You can also take the train since the place is near the subway. Or, you can ride a bus and tell the driver to drop you at Puerta de Toledo. Once you are in El Rastro, you will suddenly forget your spouse's reminder of buying him/her coffee. The place is an enchanting market that displays a feast of many awesome unique must-buys.
Thursday, April 26. 2007
If you're planning to visit El Rastro, it usually opens at 10 in the morning up to 7 or 8 in the evening. It sure is a day-long shopping moment. So, if I were you I would bring my spouse with me before he/she starts nagging again for forgetting the reminder. It's a perfect place for a bargain if you're on a tight budget. Lastly, it's simply the place to be if you want to explore Spanish culture.
